A Typical Day

On most days, Mariel gets to play with Noah (and now Abe)!!

Mariel and Noah playing together. They are starting to have little conversations; it's too cute!

And then after playing, we eventually got to bed. Mariel still loves her bath. In the following pictures is Mariel crawling around in her pajamas. The third picture is of her showing us how big she is ... she's "SO BIG." :)

Hope you have a wonderful day!!
Love to all,

South of the Border

On our way home, we continued to see signs for "South of the Border." After about the twentieth sign, we decided it would be fun to stop.

Literally, blocks south of the North Carolina border, we discovered this ...
(While looking at the cute pictures of Mariel, don't neglect to look at the background.)

Charleston (Part Two)

After the Harbor Tour, we took a rickshaw to the Battery, where we hung out for a bit before seeing Rainbow Row and the Waterfront Park.

This is Mariel at the Waterfront Park; she had so much fun.
I sat her down, and it was as though a set down a magnetic force for all the little girls playing. They instantly stopped what they were doing to play with her in the water.
After a bit, I rescued her and taught her how to gently touch the water, and she had a lot of fun!
On our anniversary, we left the Bed and Breakfast we were staying at to spend a night at Middleton Place, an old historic plantation. It was beautiful.
We took a little nap on the hammocks under the trees that surround the Inn at Middleton.
Then, it was time for our 3rd year Anniversary dinner at the Restaurant at Middleton.
We dressed up and took a little walk over to eat a wonderful meal that finished with blueberry cheesecake, made from local blueberries.
Staying with the "blue" theme, a peacock was waiting outside the door for us to feed. The manager gave us some crackers to feed it. He was so beautiful!

To be continued ...

Love to all,
