A Wedding Reception to Remember

Last Saturday, Matthew and I went to Jonathan and Michelle's wedding reception.
They got married this summer in Italy, and then came back for the reception.
They planned and prepared the menu, which was fabulous - from homemade meatballs to freshly iced cupcakes!! It was wonderful!

Here are a few pictures that give a glimpse of the great time:

Our little family :)

Michelle (the Bride), Cameron, and me! These are the cupcakes the Michelle made ... blueberry, banana, chocolate, and plain. They were delicious!!

Cameron pointing at Mariel!

Trying to figure out where she is in the tummy...

Lyndsay, one of my great friends at the Divinity School, feeling Mariel!!

And I think she looks like a balloon in this picture!!

All these pictures of courtesy of Cameron; she is a star at picture taking.

A Small Glimpse of Our Summer

Matthew and I went blueberry picking one Saturday morning.
Matthew tended to eat the blueberries he picked, while I saved most of the blueberries I picked to eat and make a July 4th fruit salad with watermelon and blueberries!! It was delicious!

If you look closely, you might see is blue mouth. :)

Picking blueberries in North Carolina!

And now for COW APPRECIATION DAY!!
Matthew made a great costume ... It took a little convincing to make him dress up, but once he decided ... there was no stopping him. He made his costume out of a black beenie, toilet paper rolls, duck tape, paper, and a latex glove left from nursing school!

And now our journey to Texas for my high school reunion; however, I only have pictures from the bay ...
Catching a small fish; it's the size of fish I actually seem to catch!

The sunset at the bay; beautiful!!

Melodie and Kenny

And now a picture of the people I hung out with all summer ... my Clinical Pastoral Education group!! We celebrated the end by eating pizza at Brixx, which I highly recommend!

From two to five ... by Thanksgiving

Brayden is our first!! He'll has a special place in our hearts!! He's bunches of fun and always up for a new adventure!

Fielding is the second!! He's such a cutie and very lovable!!

And soon there will be three more ... Jenny with Avery, Me with Mariel, and Laura with ??
So fun to be pregnant at the same time!!
Who would have thought?

So, I got my dad to bring home the Doppler to listen to the heartbeats ...

Dad finding Avery's heartbeat. We learned the difference between the sound of the placenta and the actual heartbeat! So fun! Thanks for teaching dad!

And Jenny listening to Mariel's heartbeat!

Looking forward to the fall!!

The Garner Family Reunion at the Farm

Here's our immediate family (minus my husband Matthew and Jenny's husband Aric) ...
Pictures of our whole group weren't on my camera, but I love you all!! :)
The Four of us ... still in stair steps ... Will, Chet, Molly, and Jenny!

We ate and ate and ate ... at one point, Will made the observation that his hand never left his mouth all day ... there was such great food - as always!

More food!!

And Uncle Neal created an armadillo and sea turtle out of our ham!!
(so creative)

And we played!! We got to on a carriage ride with neighbors down the road!!

Chet, Jenny, Will, and Andres

My cousin Kate, my grandparent's foreign exchange student from China - Priscilla, and me

The Beginning and End ...

My sister Jenny picked me up from the airport, and we shared some great chopped beef sandwiches and creamed corn from Rudy's ... I was in great need of true Texas Bar-B-Q!!

Then we treated our feet to pedicures before meeting my dad in Briggs.
This was a nice treat! And I felt Avery kick while we were getting pampered!! Exciting!!

One of my best friends came to visit during my first full day at the farm!
She is a true treasure in my life!

I met her son Hudson for the first time ... he's a cutie!!

And last time I saw Anna, she was under a year. That day we spent touring the Fort Worth Zoo ... and Anna is precious!!

And then we had our family reunion; I'll post pictures of the event next ...

So ... I began the trip with friends and ended the trip visiting friends ...

I met Nathan, Sarah Beth, and their son James at Central Market!!

I got to see Sarah Beth before their arrival of their second child ... She's so cute pregnant!!
She's another treasure in my life!!

Before meeting Jessica and Dwight, I hung out one last time with Will and Andres eating
Sno Cones ... a favorite of mine that North Carolina does not embrace ...

Will and me!!

Dwight and Jessica took me to the airport after a nice sparkly drink at a local coffee shop!

It was a great time being home and visiting friends and family ...
And within the day, I'll post about the 2010 Garner Family Reunion!!
