Houston Zoo with Maher and Mallie

Mariel and I got to hang out at the Houston Zoo with Maher and Mallie. Joni, their mother, and I have been best of friends since high school!! She is truly an inspiration, and a friend God used to strengthen my faith!

Here's a glance into our day:

First stop: Feeding the Giraffes!

Maher and Mariel were the best of buds. Maher is so sweet; he just loved on sweet Mariel!

Visiting My Great-Nanny & PawPaw

My Great-Aunt Diana was there to greet me with a fun choo-choo train that I watched and played with; it was so much fun!!

Loving Dirt!!!

When we go to our backyard, Mariel heads straight for the dirt!! My mom say that when I was little, I was the dirtiest kid the Boy Scout Camp Director had seen ... I guess Mariel might take after me, and I'm glad she does. The dirtier the better!!
