Durham Bulls

Since we've been in Durham, we have been big fans of the Durham Bulls.
Living near two big rivals (Duke and UNC), I've decided that it's the only safe way to go ... plus, the games are lots of fun.

So, we took Mariel to her first game, and she loved it!! She watched all the people.

At the 7th inning stretch, she fell asleep in her daddy's arms.

A Wonderful First Mother's Day

After a shower, I came out to the living room where this was waiting for me ...

my little girl holding a card and a cookie cake - what more could a mom ask for. :)

We went to church, Mariel took a nap, and then I opened a few gifts. Mariel and Matthew did a great job remembering things that I wanted ... a funnel, a Pyrex dish with carrying case, and a small metal basket for the kitchen sink to hold the brushes.

And then, we took a few family pictures.
